ManyChat Pricing 2026: Cost by Contact Count
Short answer: ManyChat costs $0 to $199 a month billed monthly ($14 to $139 billed yearly), and each plan includes a set number of active contacts: 25, 250, 2,500, 7,500 or 25,000. Above that you pay per extra contact. The catch most people miss: from about 470 contacts a month, Pro at $39 is cheaper than Essential at $17, because Essential charges $0.10 for every extra contact.

ManyChat has five plans. Each one includes active contacts per month, a number of channels and users.

The channels are Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, TikTok, Telegram, SMS and email. Essential and Pro come with a 14-day free trial. The free plan needs no card. ManyChat refunds a plan cancelled within 30 days of purchase.
What ManyChat costs at your contact count
The plan name matters less than your monthly active contacts. A contact is a person you exchange messages with that month, once per person. This table applies the published overage rates and picks the cheapest plan for each count.

The 470-contact switch point
Essential is $17 for 250 contacts plus $0.1 for each extra one. Pro is $39 for 2,500. At 470 contacts both cost $39. At 500 contacts Essential is $42 and Pro is still $39; at 1,000 contacts Essential is $92. On yearly billing the switch comes sooner, at about 433 contacts. If one post with a comment keyword can bring a few hundred people into your DMs, price Pro first.
The same pattern repeats higher up. Pro passes Business at 3,700 contacts on monthly billing ($99 each), and Business passes Advanced at 11,500 ($199 each).

Cheaper options for Instagram comment-to-DM
If you only need Instagram, flat-price DM tools cost less at small volume.
