How to use the Evergreen Repost Interval Calculator

  1. Count your evergreen library. Enter how many evergreen posts you have, or paste one title per line to name them in the calendar.
  2. Add your networks. Add a row per network with the number of posts you publish there each week.
  3. Set your share and your gap. Choose what share of your feed is evergreen (30% is the starting point) and the fewest days you want between two posts of the same piece.
  4. Read the plan and export it. Check the warnings first, then the 12 week calendar. Download the CSV and load it into your scheduler or a spreadsheet.

How the rotation works

What it calculates

For each network it takes your posts per week and spreads them over the days of the week. Your evergreen share decides how many of those posts over 12 weeks are evergreen, and they are spaced as evenly as possible across the window.

Then it fills the slots one by one. Each slot goes to the piece that has rested longest among those that have cleared your minimum gap. If no piece has cleared it, the longest-resting piece is used and the slot is flagged.

What it does not claim

This is planning arithmetic. It does not say how any network treats a repeated post, and it makes no promise about reach. The minimum gap is a choice about your audience and your own standards.

Limitations

Weeks are counted from a Monday and posts are spread evenly across the days, so a real calendar with fixed days may differ by a day or two. If a piece goes stale, remove it from the library and run the plan again.

Frequently asked questions

How often can I repost the same evergreen post?

That is your call, and the tool does not claim a universal right answer. You pick the smallest gap you are comfortable with, such as 60 days, and the tool checks whether your library and your posting pace can honour it. Followers who see the same line twice in a week notice. Followers who see it twice a year mostly do not.

How is the interval calculated?

Evergreen slots per week are your posts per week times your evergreen share. If you rotate evenly through N pieces, each piece comes back after N divided by slots per week, in weeks. The same sum run backwards gives the library size you need for a chosen gap.

What happens when my library is too small?

The tool still builds a calendar, using the piece that has rested longest, and shows a warning with the number of pieces you would need, or the gap or share you could change instead. Slots that break your gap are counted.

Why do my networks get different pieces on the same day?

Each network gets its own rotation, started at a different point in the library, so one piece does not land on every profile on the same day. You can ignore that and post the same piece everywhere if you prefer.

Should I change the wording each time I repost?

It helps your audience if you do. A new opening line, a fresh image or an updated example keeps a repost from feeling like a copy. The calendar only decides which piece goes out and when. It does not rewrite anything.

Is my library stored anywhere?

No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent or saved. The CSV is built on your device.
