Use the MCP server so your AI agent can post safely
Connect Claude, Cursor or another MCP client to TimeToPost with OAuth, then let the agent draft, schedule and inspect the queue under your account permissions.
Why MCP matters
The TimeToPost MCP server lets an AI agent operate the same human-gated publishing loop as the web app. It uses OAuth browser sign-in, not pasted API keys.
Agents can list integrations, create drafts, schedule posts, read approvals, approve drafts, get optimal times and check scheduler health. Tool availability still depends on your account, plan and connected platforms.
Connect the server
Add the hosted endpoint to your MCP client and authorize in the browser.
- Use https://api.timetopost.co/mcp as the MCP server URL.
- Start a tool call in your client.
- Complete the OAuth browser sign-in.
- Ask the agent to call get_capabilities before it schedules anything.
- Have the agent create drafts first until you trust the workflow.
Safe prompt pattern
Ask the agent to draft, validate and place posts into recommended slots, then show you the approval list. Avoid prompts that ask for silent bulk publishing.
