How to schedule your first post
Create a TimeToPost post, pick Instagram, TikTok or X accounts, attach media, and schedule it for a specific time or best-time recommendation.
Before you start
You need a TimeToPost account, one connected publishing account, and a paid plan or trial that allows posting. Free accounts can explore the app, but posting requires a plan.
The everyday live scheduler platforms are Instagram, TikTok and X. Some dashboard and launch surfaces mention other channels, but public scheduling claims should stay anchored to those three live platforms.
Create the post
Open the dashboard composer and build the post from the same queue your AI drafts use.
- Write the caption in the composer.
- Attach media when the platform requires it. Instagram needs image or video media for publishing.
- Select one or more connected Instagram, TikTok or X accounts.
- Choose a specific date and time, publish now, or use a best-time slot when your plan includes it.
- Save the post. It moves into the scheduled list until the background scheduler publishes it.
Check the result
The post lifecycle moves through draft, scheduled, publishing, published, failed or partial states. If one destination fails, TimeToPost records the per-account result so you can retry or reconnect the affected account.
