What the Instagram scheduler can publish
Live integration: Instagram OAuth, media publishing, profile/media sync, insights, comments, and carousel support are implemented in the backend provider.
Known limitations
- Instagram does not provide native scheduled publishing in this provider; TimeToPost holds the queue and publishes when the scheduled time arrives.
- Text-only Instagram posts are not valid. Every scheduled Instagram item needs image or video media.
- Reels and Stories are represented in provider capabilities, but the current publish implementation does not expose separate Reels or Stories controls.
Best-time engine
Schedule Instagram posts into the hours that already perform
Instagram timing works best when feed and carousel posts land during save, share and lunch-break windows. Use this curve as a public baseline, then let account analytics replace it once your connected account has enough history.

How it works
One loop from source to scheduled post
Connect
Connect Instagram, TikTok or X with OAuth. TimeToPost stores tokens, validates post shape, and keeps platform requirements visible before anything is queued.
Approve queue
Drafts from your ideas, commits, trends and SEO topics wait in one review queue. Edit the platform variant, approve it, or reject it.
Auto-publish at best time
Approved posts publish from the TimeToPost queue when the account timing model says your audience is most likely to respond.
Pricing
Scheduler pricing is honest and small-team sized
Starter is $12/mo for consistent scheduling basics. Pro is $49.99/mo for teams, heavier automation, approval workflows, agent/MCP use cases and growth loops. Exact limits live on the pricing page so plan claims do not drift.

FAQ
Instagram scheduler questions
Can TimeToPost schedule Instagram posts automatically?
Yes. TimeToPost stores the scheduled item, waits until the chosen time, then publishes through the Instagram provider. The Instagram API does not do native scheduling for this provider, so the TimeToPost queue is the scheduler.
What Instagram post types are live?
Single image feed posts, single video feed posts and carousels are the reliable live scheduling surface. Reels and Stories are present in provider capabilities, but this page does not promise a separate Reels or Stories workflow until the publish path exposes those controls end to end.
Can I approve Instagram drafts first?
Yes. Drafts from ideas, commits, trends and SEO topics can wait in one approval queue. You can approve, edit or reject them before they are eligible to publish.
What is the main Instagram limitation?
Instagram posts need media. TimeToPost cannot publish a text-only Instagram post, and it should not be used as a separate Story scheduler until the dedicated Story publishing path is exposed.
